Vern has been involved in elite professional sport as an athlete, coach and performance director for almost 20 years. He sailed for top America’s Cup teams Prada and Luna Rossa, where he was also the Head of Athlete Performance.
He has consulted for international teams in Rugby, Soccer, Netball, America’s Cup Sailing, Olympic sports, F1 and the NFL on Performance Training, and created the first online sports recovery monitoring tool, RESTWISE®. Vern holds a PhD in Sports Science from Loughborough University and is CSCS certified.
