The TOTALPOWER™ Training workshop consists of an introductory presentation on the background of ESP and the ESP philosophy for performance training, including insight into FPMTM (Functional Power Movement™). An interactive presentation on the TOTALPOWER™ equipment includes a demonstration of the key features of the Racks, Platforms, Boxes, Bars, Weights and additional extras. The safety overview demonstrates equipment safety features, how to train safe and how to be safe in the gym environment, as well as equipment maintenance. The final aspect of the workshop entails a training session lead by ESP Master Trainer(s) who systematically go through the many training options and group circuit training combinations that are available on the TOTALPOWER™ Rack and Platform Combo. Questions and exercise suggestions are welcomed throughout the practical session with an open discussion to close.

FPM™ Workshop

The Functional Power Movement™ workshop uncovers for the very first time the fundamental principles of performance training adopted by the worlds best athletes and coaches. The three main elements key to almost any performance conditioning program are discussed in detail. One of the more common terms in training today is “functional training” , but what is a functional exercise and why is it key to the design of any effective programme? Power, is a component of almost all athletic movements, but do we know how to train for this? Movement, particularly whole body movement, is necessary to develop the sequence and transfer of energy through the body, but how is energy transferred and how can this be trained. The FPM™  workshop is an interactive practical workshop covering the latest trends in strength and conditioning.

Olympic Lifting for Performance

Learn how to optimally develop and use Olympic lifts to improve sporting performance.

 

The Olympic lifts are widely used within the preparation of athletes with a view to helping improve performance. There are many philosophies with regards the use of Olympic lifts, including which Olympic lift or variation is best to use; what loading is optimal; the relevance to sporting performance; can they improve strength qualities, and; what is appropriate technique. This workshop addresses the key factors often neglected in using Olympic lifts to maximise the transfer of gains to sporting performance. The workshop consists of 2 parts, the background and theory of Olympic lifts and a practical training session which covers the essential aspects of using the Olympic lifts and provides useful information for any level of coach, trainer or athlete to help reflect on their current use of Olympic lifts; to challenge current beliefs and help to formulate their own new training philosophies and programs.

The ESP Fitter Stronger Faster Junior Athlete Workshop provides coaches and teachers with a progressive conditioning program unique and effective in facilitating the demanding transition from junior athlete through to elite performer. Covering athletes from 13 to 18 years of age, the workshop is developed upon ESP’s key principle of Functional Power Movement™ together with evidence based facts on junior athlete development. The revolutionary ‘3×3’ structure guides coaches and teachers through a comprehensive progression of junior athlete Strength and Power development, including movement based exercise critical for optimal body functioning. This practical and interactive workshop will challenge current beliefs and stimulate thinking into new philosophies and training concepts of junior athlete programming.

TOTAL-LIFT™ Training Workshop

The TOTAL-LIFT™ Training workshop consists of an introductory presentation on  ESP and the ESP philosophy for performance training, including insight into ESP’s FPM™, an interactive demonstration on the key features of ESP equipment,  including how to train safe and how to be safe in a gym environment, as well as equipment maintenance. The second part of the workshop entails a Level 1 introduction to Olympic Lifting. The Olympic Lifts are widely used within the preparation of athletes to help improve performance. The workshop briefly summaries the background and theory of Olympic Lifting based on varying philosophies with regards to, which lifts or variations are best to use, what loading is optimal, their relevance to sporting performance and fitness, their benefits as well as the appropriate technique. The workshop includes a practical session covering the essential aspects of using the Olympic lifts, and provides useful information for coaches, or trainers to help reflect on their current use of Olympic Lifting and help formulate new training philosophies and programmes.

The final aspect of the workshop entails a training session lead by ESP Master Trainer(s) who systematically go through the many training options that are available with the TOTALFREEDOM™ Range including group circuit training combinations, body weight exercises, callisthenics, Crossfit exercises, and the use of training accessories. Questions and exercise suggestions are welcomed throughout the practical session with an open discussion to close.
